Hex and the City
While the commercial used to say, “What would you for a Klondike Bar?”, I feel like our society is moving more towards “What would you do for the perfect Instagram photo?” I was so convincing in hailing a cab that one actually appeared. I’m 90% sure I was cursed out by the driver but I had to do if for the gram!
Despite the rain and weather, I did my best Carrie Bradshaw reinactment and strutted around 5th Avenue. I got rained on. Onlookers snickered. Several doormen were not amused as I posed in front of some ritzy co-ops. Before I knew it, I was posing on railings and standing on street grates like Marilyn Monroe. Confidence, but make it fashion. Breaking out of my shell a little bit more each day.
